The context:

• Many mainline campus ministries all in a two block radius (Newman Catholic Center, WELS, LCMS)
• Campus Crusade, FCA, Interdenominational ministry don't have places of worship- they work out of the campus student union.
• Crossroads is on a corner right across from campus, near performing arts center
• Was once a house and basement with four ministries run out of it. Now the whole center belongs to Crossroads. An addition in 1996 added a multipurpose room for worship, plus entryway, etc. Fred was the general contractor; most of the work was done by volunteers.

The facility itself:

In basement (former house):

• Fred's office
• secretary's office
• study room with four computers
• Meeting room with kitchenette & 2 computers
• Pop machine
• Bathrooms
• Storage room
• Free Coffee & Cookies!
  

In upstairs (former house):

• Rooms of the residents (four guys who live in and do maintenance, hospitality, etc)
• Kitchen
• Living area
  

In 1996 addition (ground level):

• Narthex/hallway
• Entryway with couch and chair
• Multipurpose sanctuary (also used for meetings during the week)
• Coatroom
• Unisex bathroom
• No right angles in addition!
